My Voice

Man creates his story and whispers his truth
Woman screams her flood of drama and storm of self judgement
Together they incubate the mind’s symphony of memories
Shadows languidly waxing like the moon in a misty dream world
Evolving from a sweet delirious ache into rusty bitter monsters

Ugly pain crushing my heart with chains of iron
Their raw want and need lick at my skin with tongues of desire
Above me, Beneath me, Behind me, Within me
I cannot breathe, I cannot escape, I cannot silence the moans
I smell the sweat and blood, I hear the ego’s song
Is intuition my karma, mother to the world my reality?

Deeply swimming in my mantra of selflessness
I am drowning in their energy and choking on my compassion
I cut at their chords with the empty hope of freedom
A futile battle, leaving me cold and hard. Will I ever be free?
Is disconnect the answer, living on my island the cure?

A tale I have told myself from the beginning of my time.
I will spin a different yarn, a new vision of beauty.
A journey to seek the temple of my soul and tame my sea of power
Connect with Self, use my voice, speak my truth
Only then will their cries be silent and mine be heard

Becoming

A few resistant leaves of gold
In the misty morning fog
Clinging to what has already passed
Neither autumn rain nor wind have
Driven them from their lofty
View of the world below

Let go my loves, drift into the

Darkness of solstice with me
The void awaits
The potential of all that is and
All that can be

What will you become.

The magic of the winter is calling
Hold my hand and walk with me
Tumbling in to the
Cozy womb of the unbecoming

Sleep my loves, drift off with me

Dream of caterpillar cocoon’s and
Dragonfly wings coursing with light
Intertwined we awake to buds
Bursting and earth warming
To the potential of all that is andAll that can be

What will we become.

Metamorphoses

why was I born
me is buried
i’m a slave
i can taste it

eyes gritty from losing my mind
deep, icy, awful and unforgivable
out of accord with this world
anxiety ambushes, creeping up
heaving with unpredictable surges of energy

a nervous shriek in my head,
girl disappear, run wild, out of your sense
instead, setting up house inside,
she became solitude

death and demons sever each broken perception
a mindless scramble to resist expectations
twisted pale pink and gold
memories nudging their way back to the surface

Let it go. Let it be, just falling down,
down,

down,

down

A window lit from above
Slow going. A lingering process.
Weeping gratitude. Sweetness. Spiritual freedom.
The body’s lightness dancing
Knowing thyself
a truly high flying,

cunning,

deep

and vital thing.

I am

I am water and I am stone
I am earth and hollow bone
I am dark and unknown
And I am free

I am tree and I am sky
I am the eagle that can fly
I am the wind in a sigh
And I am free

I am the joyful trickling stream
I am the glistening moonbeam
I am the deep and potent dream
And I am free

I am you and you are me
The infinite cosmic sea
We are all that be
And we are free
